  • 0°, 30°, 45°, or 90°1
  • The examiner places arm between patient’s knees (if hip is flexed) or distal lower leg1
  • Maximal isometric contraction for 5-10 seconds1

Positive: Reproduction of groin pain indicates adductor muscle involvement on symptomatic side1

Provocation with hip in neutral is a contraindication for return-to-play1
